Education
I graduated from McDaniel College in May of 2017 with majors in History and Spanish, a minor in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies, and a GPA of 3.6. I was a member of my school's Global Fellows program, as well as several honors societies: the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society, Phi Sigma Iota National Language Honor Societ, and Pi Gamma Mu National Social Sciences Honor Society.
Experience
I have been tutoring for approximately five years. I began tutoring while a student at McDaniel College, where I was employed by the school to tutor other college students. During this time I tutored students in Spanish, Arabic, and Astronomy. I met with students one on one and was also the school's official Astronomy tutor during my senior year, where I held weekly group sessions to assist students who needed help. Since graduating I have continued tutoring, and now have experience with students ranging from elementary school up to adults who are not enrolled in any school and wish to learn a particular subject independently. I have also begun working as an ESL teacher, assisting speakers of other languages in learning English. Additionally, I am qualified to assist students looking to prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT and GRE. I have an SAT score of 2040 and a GRE score in the 97th percentile. I am very passionate about teaching and love helping students learn!

Hobbies
In addition to teaching, I have a variety of other interests and hobbies. I am very passionate about astronomy and am always up to date on the latest theories about outer space. I also love martial arts and am very dedicated to training in Kung Fu. I love learning foreign languages; in addition to Spanish and Arabic, I am currently in the process of learning Mandarin Chinese. I've played the piano since I was six and it is one of my favorite pastimes. I also love snowboarding, lifting weights, or just curling up on the couch with a good book and one of my pets!
